Denmark

By ending up in first place during the qualifiers, The Danish squad will be participating in the Euros for the 10th time this year. In 1992, they even won the tournament against all odds. Denmark had not initially qualified for the 1992 European Championship. But because Yugoslavia, the group winner in Denmark's qualifying pool, was in a state of war, the country was excluded from participation. Denmark, whose selection was already on holiday on the beach, was called in as a replacement. Without any preparation, the Danish squad managed to pull off one of the biggest stunts in the history of the European Championship. The country surprisingly became world champion.

In 2024, Denmark has many great players like goalkeeper Schmeichel, Kjær, Eriksen, Højlund and Christensen. But pulling off what they did in 1992 will be very hard because of their tough group with England, Serbia and Slovenia.
