Group A

The hosts headline Group A as strong favourites with a win probability of 71.4% according to Unibet. Reaching their third UEFA Euros in a row, Hungary will be looking to improve on their bottom place performance at Euro 2020. Scotland have not won a game at the Euros since 1996, and so achieving a long awaited victory be the ultimate goal. Switzerland reached their best finish in the competition in 2020, narrowly losing to Spain on penalties.

Group B

Labelled this years 'group of death', Group B will prove a difficult challenge to win. Euro 2020 winners Italy come storming back, seeking to retain their title, especially after having missed out on the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Spain lost to Italy on penalties in the semi-finals of Euro 2020 - revenge is in order. Croatia are a stalwart of international football, consistently high achieving, and will be looking for their first victory in the tournament. Albania come into the competition ranked 66th in the world with this draw not giving them much hope of qualifying.

Group C

Euro 2020 finals hosts England headline Group C in which they will be the heavy favourites. Champions of Euro 1992 Denmark will believe they can prevent England's dominance, lead by Rasmus Højlund. Serbia and Slovenia complete the group, with the Eastern European derby set to excite.

Group D

Group D will be led by European giants France and the Netherlands. Fresh off the back of their heartbreaking loss to Argentina in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, France want to right some wrongs and become victorious in Berlin. The Netherlands are in somewhat of a transition phase with their squad featuring a record low number of Ajax players. Poland scraped into the tournament through a penalty shoot-out win over Wales in the play-off rounds of the qualifying stages and will need to up their game to compete at this level. Austria boasts one of their strongest sides in recent times with many of their players experiencing success in the Bundesliga and will be hoping for one or two upsets in their campaign

Group E

One of the lighter groups in terms of FIFA rankings, Belgium's old guard will arrive as strong favourites. Featuring a team of ageing stars, many are speculating whether this will be their last chance to win with their current generation. Ukraine qualified for the tournament through the playoffs round, but will consider that as an underperformance relative to their usual high standards. Romania and Slovakia enter the tournament as even matches, ranked 46th and 48th in the world respectively by FIFA.

Group F

Euro 2016 Champions Portugal come into Group F as heavy favourites and must make the most of what is surely Cristiano Ronaldo's final major international tournament. Nevertheless, the Czech Republic will want to spoil the party, boasting a host high achieving players across Europe's top leagues. Turkey and Georgia complete the group but it will prove incredibly difficult for either side to reach the knockout stages of the competition.
